Information about research, CS and TT in the college/institute/school

The School of Law administers a library which can accommodate hundreds of law students at a time. It has a periodical section where new laws journals, books and others written documents are made available to students. Several old and newly arrived books are within the reach of the School’s library. The School also conducts national and international research conferences on various themes which are a key platform for bringing academia, practitioners and policy makers for discussion and suggesting way forward on important problems affecting Ethiopia and Africa

  • The School has launched an academic journal named the International Journal of Ethiopian Legal Studies (IJELS). The journal is active since 2015. IJELS is a peer reviewed Scholarly Journal focusing on Ethiopian legal studies from national and comparative perspectives. The Journal aims to serve as a leading publication forum for the thoughtful and scholarly engagement of emerging legal issues in Ethiopia. IJELS gives emphasis to legal issues of contemporary relevance that touches upon recent developments in Ethiopian legal studies. IJELS encourages notes, comments, book reviews, and articles based on critical reflections through empirical, theoretical and multidisciplinary studies capable of contributing to the existing body of legal knowledge.
